I have two pc’s one has windows on and is connected to the internet, and the other runs Ubuntu Linux and isn’t connected to the internet. I wanted to find a way to install programs on the Ubuntu pc. I can download the files from the windows pc then take them on my memory stick to the Ubuntu pc but I don’t know what to do next???? this is where you come in.

Sorry if this is a very vague question, but I just started using Linux, and I want to also be able to keep using Windows XP. On a question I had asked earlier today, one answer said something about downloading Ubuntu onto a CD, then booting to the CD and resize the drive using the built-in “drive resizer,” then to continue with the install. But I have no idea where the drive resizer is, or what to do when I find it so I don’t make any big mistakes. Anyone got any answers for me?

Is it neccesary to keep ubuntu firefox modifications add-on on mozzila firefox my internet browser? Because I noticed that when It is enable youtube videos dont play. What does it actually do? It came with linux, Ubuntu.
