I am talking about that Logitech mouse with the ball-bearing scroll wheel and the thumb wheel. I am running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon with the compiz-fusion setup. I would like to know how well the mouse features work or if I will need to do any special setup. Ubuntu is usually pretty good with hardware, but I just want to make sure it will work.

i had ubuntu for a while but had some issues. i loved the program with the notes, where you’d type stuff in and you could link them together with other notes and stuff.. it was simple and neat and helpful.. is there a program like that for windows xp so i can write little notes about random stuff? to do lists, projects, upcoming events, etc. that is simple and neat like that?

I have installed Ubuntu many times now, on all of my computers. But not my laptop because it doesn’t have enough RAM. I have a Compaq Presario 1700T. I found the documentation on doing a ’small’ install, for low memory computers but I don’t know where to download the iso. Could someone please give me the link to download the small installation iso for Ubuntu 8.04?

I’m using feisty fawn. It does that whether I’m in full screen mode or not.. I played with the video settings, and it does the same thing.. on every part of the game.
