How can I check what journaling mode my ubuntu installation is using? Ordered, Writeback, Journaling Full?

I am trying to make sure that I am using ordered mode but I can’t figure out how to check to make sure! Anybody?

I am thinking about buying the Dell inspiration 1525 pre-installed with Ubuntu 8.4. All the parts are default,but with more Ram. Has any got the ubuntu dell combo what do you think about it?

ok, so I downloaded Ubuntu 8.04.1 (hardy heron) and burned it to a disk with toast titanium. i load it up by holding down “c” while booting up, and I get some text. then no matter what I do, I get a white screen or a message that says “cannot allocate memory”, or “cannot allocate region of device” could anyone give me some advice?
