how do I install Ubuntu on my PowerBook G4?

ok, so I downloaded Ubuntu 8.04.1 (hardy heron) and burned it to a disk with toast titanium. i load it up by holding down “c” while booting up, and I get some text. then no matter what I do, I get a white screen or a message that says “cannot allocate memory”, or “cannot allocate region of device” could anyone give me some advice?

you also have to use some partition to make a spare part of memory to install it on.
